1977 O-PEE-Chee Canada, blue bordered series one, set of 66 cards +11 stickers. The 1977 French-Canadian O-PEE-CHEE "Star Wars Series One" set is another favorite of mine. I think that the rough edges add character, and I especially like the sets that are essentially reprints of the U.S. Topps sets with notable but subtle differences. The main difference from the U.S. cards here is the French translations, but the cards were also printed on cardstock that was lighter in color and weight, and were cut with a blade that left rougher edges than their Topps counterparts. The stickers that go with this set (numbered #1-11) are not distinguishable from the U.S. Topps stickers, except maybe for the rougher edges, so I do not collect those separately. In fact, when breaking down OPC packs, I mix the stickers right in with my Topps sticker singles. The scans for this set include a wax wrapper, wax box, and some exceptional examples of the cards.

The stickers that go with this set (numbered #12-22) are again not distinguishable from the U.S. Topps stickers, except maybe for the rougher edges, so I do not collect those separately. 1977 O-PEE-CHEE Canada, orange bordered series three, set of 132 cards + 22 stickers. The 1977 French-Canadian O-PEE-CHEE "Star Wars Series Three" set is a bit different. The stickers that go with this set are numbered #34 - 55. Interestingly, the stickers are not numbered sequentially following the numbers from the first two sets - no O-PEE-CHEE stickers with #23-33 exist. This is also the only base Star Wars set to have 132 cards. The cards all have orange borders and are numbered 133 - 264. You might be tempted to consider it two separate sets of 66 cards, that just happen to have the same color border, except that they did come together in packs. This is the last set of OPC Star Wars cards, the total run was 1 - 264 (as compared to the U.S. run of 1 - 330). Another interesting fact, is that similar to the U.S. set there is an error card. In this set it's card #183 (pictured) which is titled "Ken Kenobi" (should, obviously, say "Ben Kenobi). The scans include a wax wrapper, wax box, and some exceptional examples of the cards.
